You may have some difficulty getting your point across during the first three days of May. Others seem distracted, bored or flat-out uninterested in your views and concerns. Their lack or interest could motivate you to pack up and move. Lately, you've felt like the last honest person standing who is in tune with the spirit of a cause, product or relationship. Others seem willing (even eager) to dumb down a project or agree to changes that you find déclassé. Trust your instincts. If you believe that a once fine idea is splitting apart at the seams, either give a situation one more try or move on. You, by the way, are not a dinosaur with expectations associated with a bygone era. You understand what is at stake here. Some of the up and coming people, however, are so myopic that they're incapable of seeing the big picture.

The 5th is promising because you do make contact with someone smart and experienced enough to take you seriously. Sometime between now and early November, you gather all the proof you need to be able to make a break or continue fighting the good fight where you are.

May 7th is a turning point. You might not actually feel this until the 13th, but a shakeup that could change the complexion and tone of one of your passionate interests is shifting.

Between May 7th and 30th, Mercury goes retro. Because an extended 'storm' period occurs until June 9th, you essentially have just over a month of Mercury's misbehavior, instead of the customary three weeks. This phase will have a direct impact on essential and close working relationships as well as important personal ones. It's best to hide your cards during this phase. Don't give others advance notice of your plans. But do explore attractive options. Something that once seemed sacrosanct and unbreakable is a lot more vulnerable than you used to think. Your famous loyalty is being tested. It may come down to your decision to continue a relationship at the expense of your own dignity and self-respect – or not. Either direction is demanding.

A Full Moon on May 9th falls in your sign, indicating that you will interpret almost everything that occurs through a personal lens. Objectivity may be nearly impossible. Each new development backs up your gripes or dissatisfaction – feelings that have been brewing for ages. Saturn goes direct on the 16th, helping you focus more on your hopes and wishes, instead of getting bogged down in what is wrong with various situations.

On the 20th, you move into a month-long intensive transformation cycle, trying things you've rarely done before and expanding your reach. You take risks that you either didn't want to in the past or had no reason to consider. On the 29th, Neptune goes retro until November 4th, falling in line with another date with personal and career destiny. You're quietly, cautiously creating a new future for yourself. When you're ready (anytime from November of this year through the first quarter of 2010), you'll turn the page and enter into an exciting new cycle. Mars certainly kicks things up a notch for you from May 31st through late August. You become aware of additional reasons to either stay put or make a massive change.
